Happy Monday!
Each Monday I would like to take some time to get to know some of our favorite authors. My hope is that this will help readers connect with the authors.
Today I would like to introduce you to: Erin Elise Kiu!
Erin and I met when she reached out to me. We hit it off talking through emails and I even read her book! She has a great story and testimony! I hope you enjoy getting to know her today!

To help us get to know her, I have given her some questions and here are her responses:
Q: How long have you been writing?
A: I’ve had a dream of becoming an author since the first grade, but I’ve seriously been writing for about two years now. Ever since I gave my life to Christ, I found myself journaling and pouring my heart and ideas out on paper. I never thought becoming an author was a serious option until God put it on my heart to share my testimony through a book, which is why I wrote One Transforming Love.
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: My first book, One Transforming Love, just released into this world, so I will be talking about this book for the next few months so my story can reach women all over the world. I can’t wait to start my next manuscript for another Christian Fiction novel that I want to write, but God has put it on my heart to create an online course and Bible study for single women to help them attract their future husbands. God answered my prayers for a Godly husband, and I want to help other women have their God written love story too.
Q: What are some of your writing must haves? (Drink, snack, supplies, etc.)
A: I write best in the morning, so spending time with God in prayer and worship and coffee are a must! When I’m struggling to stay focused writing later in the day, I enjoy writing at coffee shops and treating myself to a latte and something sweet as a reward 🙂
Q: What is your favorite time period to write about? Or read about?
A: My passion is writing for women of this generation and addressing biblical solutions to real-world problems that women face today. Women of this generation face so many pressures and temptations to live set apart for Christ in this world, and I want to write about how we can navigate these real-world issues as woman of faith.
Q: What are some of your favorite books?
A: I could read Christian Fiction all day! Karen Kingsbury is my all-time favorite Christian Fiction author. Some of my favorites by Karen are the Angels Walking series and her latest novel, A Distant Shore. I’ve also been enjoying Becky Wade’s books, like My Stubborn Heart and Stay With Me. And I can’t leave out the legend, Francine Rivers and her book Redeeming Love!
Q: If you could spend a day with one fictional character, who would you pick and what would you do?
A: Since the Angels Walking books by Karen Kingsbury were my favorites, I would have to pick Beck, one of the angels. I would love to spend a day with Beck, hanging out in heaven and also witnessing how an angel helps God perform miracles on Earth.
I have saved my favorite question for last!
Q: What would you like readers to take away from your books?
A: My prayer is that readers are filled with hope for their future, and that they are able to see the love of God in a fresh way. I pray that women see that it’s never too late to turn to God and that it is possible to move on from the past. And that it is possible to become who God created them to be when they decide to live their life for Jesus.

I’m also featuring her new release, One Transforming Love! I recently read this and I definitely recommend it! It feels so real because the main character faces situations that we could face in our daily lives. Be sure to add it to your Goodreads list here. You can also get a copy here.
About the book:
Moving on from her past seemed impossible. Until she met the One who promised to give her a future.
When Aubrey moves across the country to San Diego to escape her past, she is hopeful that she can finally discover God’s purpose for her life and meet her future husband. She doesn’t know too much about God, but she is confident her new faith and a new city will help her leave her drunken mistakes and dating history behind.
As she settles into her new beach life, Aubrey meets Jake while watching dolphins play in the ocean. They instantly hit it off and it feels like fate, but soon, Aubrey begins to question Jake’s true intentions and lifestyle.
Is this the guy God has chosen for her? If this is the life God has intended for her, then why does she still feel so lost and alone, and why does she keep making the same mistakes?
Aubrey quickly realizes her past has followed her to her new city, and that going to church every once in a while isn’t good enough. After a few nights she’d like to forget, God shows her that she has a choice to make.
Aubrey can choose God and to do life his way, or she can choose to continue trying to find love and acceptance from the world.
Will she ever be able to move on from her past? Will she have the courage to surrender it all to God?
