Happy Monday!
Each Monday I would like to take some time to get to know some of our favorite authors. My hope is that this will help readers connect with the authors.
Today I would like to introduce you to: Patricia Bradley!
I have been loving reading Patricia’s books! Her suspense books are addicting!
Author bio:
Patricia Bradley is a Carol finalist and winner of an Inspirational Readers’ Choice Award in Suspense, and three anthologies that included her stories debuted on the USA Today Best Seller List. She and her two cats call Northeast Mississippi home–the South is also where she sets most of her books. Her romantic suspense novels include the Logan Point series and the Memphis Cold Case Novels. Obsession, the second book in the Natchez Trace Park Rangers series, released on February 2, 2021. She is now hard at work on the third book and fourth book, Crosshairs and Deception.
To help us get to know her, I have given her some questions and here are her responses:
Q: How long have you been writing?
A: For almost 40 years…but I didn’t get serious about it until eleven years ago.
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: I’m working on two books right now–the edits for the 3rd Natchez Trace Park Rangers book–Crosshairs and the 4th book in the series–Deception.
Q: What are some of your writing must haves? (Drink, snack, supplies, etc.)
A: Four cups of coffee in the morning then water. Sitting for eight or more hours a day means I have to watch what I eat! As for supplies, it would be my computer and Scrivener.
Q: What is your favorite time period to write about? Or read about?
A: Contemporary time but I also like split time.
Q: What are some of your favorite books?
A: Oh, my goodness. There are so many! Right now I’ve just finished Kelly Irvin’s Her Every Move, and I like all of Elizabeth Goddard’s books…and Lynette Eason’s and Susan May Warren’s…sorry if I name them all you’ll run out of space. lol
Q: If you could spend a day with one fictional character, who would you pick and what would you do?
A: Again, that’s hard to say…probably with Ari from Exodus by Leon Uris. I read that book as a teenager and that character is still with me. He was instrumental in Israel becoming a country in 1948.
I have saved my favorite question for last!
Q: What would you like readers to take away from your books?
A: That God never leaves us nor forsakes us and always stands ready to forgive us when we confess and repent.

I’m also featuring her newest release, Obsession. It is book 2 in the Natchez Trace Park Rangers series. It is so good! I didn’t want to put it down! Be sure to add it to your Goodreads shelf.
About the book:
Natchez Trace Ranger and historian Emma Winters hoped never to see Sam Ryker again after she broke off her engagement to him. But when shots are fired at her at a historical landmark just off the Natchez Trace, she’s forced to work alongside Sam as the Natchez Trace law enforcement district ranger in the ensuing investigation. To complicate matters, Emma has acquired a delusional secret admirer who is determined to have her as his own. Sam is merely an obstruction, one which must be removed.
Sam knows that he has failed Emma in the past and he doesn’t intend to let her down again. Especially since her life is on the line. As the threads of the investigation cross and tangle with their own personal history, Sam and Emma have a chance to discover the truth, not only about the victim but about what went wrong in their relationship.
I enjoy Patricia’s novels. I’m excited to read her new series!
