Today I’m joining Jessica from A Baker’s Perspective for something new. She’s started posting questions to help people learn a little bit more about her and her blogging friends.
Today’s question: What made you start blogging?
To be honest, I never planned on starting a blog. It seemed like way too much work. I’m an avid reader and had been on multiple launch teams. Whenever I would join launch teams they would always ask if you had a blog. My answer was always no. I had been reading blogs from several reading friends, but didn’t think it would be something I would be good at. Sure, I love talking about books and gushing about favorite authors, but I really didn’t think that I had enough words in me to come up with posts worth reading. Still don’t.
My husband had been telling me for a while to start a book blog (probably so I would stop talking to him about books). I still kept saying no. That was until October of 2019. Enter Becca from The Becca Files. She was very persuasive. And by persuasive I mean that she all but set it up for me since I am not tech savvy at all.
I am glad that I finally went ahead and did it. I’m still figuring it out as I go. My posts are usually pretty short. I’m still not very wordy. I just love being able to talk about books and to post about them!
I’m so glad you started blogging. I think you do a great job! 😀
